Just to clarify, we're not talking about Miller High Life which is often touted as "the champagne of beers". What we are referring to in the title of this post is a beer that is actually champagne-like, complete with fine bubbles and a fruity/spicy aroma.
The folks over at Samuel Adams decided to work with the world's oldest brewery, Germany's Weihenstephan, and after two years of collaboration, came up with Samuel Adams Infinium Ale - a champagne-like ale that follows the 1516 German purity laws by using only malt, hops, water, and yeast in its creation.
